Also, now in proper 60fps! (With a few stutters here and there.)

Oof. This was a real pain! But I finally, somehow, figured this diagram out.

The first diagram for the Chūō Line is this short run through the heart of Tōkyō, between Tōkyō and Shinjuku stations. It's a weird bit of railway real estate, having no consistent speed limits, and goals all over the place that make this diagram a real challenge to tackle well, or consistently.

Luckily, after much trial and error, I figured it out, and present to you this guide. I hope you find it useful!

I do fear that some of the concepts I try to relay in this video aren't communicated very well by me, so if you have any questions, please let me know in the comments below.

The 201 series of EMU was developed and deployed by JNR in 1979, and inherited by JR East and West. Only JR West still has them in service now, due to be withdrawn in 2023.

I'm slowly learning new techniques for video editing, so unfortunately I have not settled on a standard format for anything yet. I'm still playing around to see what works and what is visually appealing, so please forgive me for my lack of consistency.
