UL Power is another great alternative to the traditional Lycoming or Continental power plants when it comes to piston engine aircraft. UL Power Engines have been developed specifically for use in light aircraft and are manufactured with fully electronic ignition and multi-point fuel injection (FADEC) system as standard equipment.

The engine featured today is the 6-cylinder UL520 which is direct fuel injected and has a computer FADEC controlling the ignition and turbo. The main goal of this turbo is not to create a big boost in HP but rather to compensate for the loss of atmospheric density during all phases of flight, and thus eliminating the loss of power seen with elevated altitudes. The UL520T maintains its 220HP from sea level up to 15000 ft.

Oh and UL Power engine can take car gas as well.
