Hello, green lovers! Welcome back to the channel!

It’s been a while, but we’re back! I hope everyone is doing well and that your plants are thriving. In today’s vlog, I’ll be sharing some fall updates on my lucky bamboo in both water and soil. The one in water had a rough patch this spring and summer because of the fertilizer I was using, so I’ve switched things up. Now I only give my lucky bamboo a banana fertilizer, no more store-bought mixes. I also continue to use filtered water since tap water chemicals can harm plants (if you saw my old vlog where I tried watering all my houseplants in the shower, you know how that went!). For the past four years, filtered water has really made a difference.

I trimmed off some leaves that weren’t growing and just changing colors, and I’m happy to see new buds forming and roots developing, just proof that with a little TLC, plants bounce back. The lucky bamboo in water actually split into two: one started declining, but I saved her just in time and repotted her into soil. Now, she’s pushing out new leaves again. The bamboo already in soil is almost as tall as me, crazy, right? Meanwhile, the little one on my living room ledge looks so cute with a new leaf slowly emerging. I’m also testing out a candle wax method with my lucky bamboo, so I’ll keep you posted on that experiment.
