A Film About the Death of Everyday Objects

Описание к видео A Film About the Death of Everyday Objects

Multi-disciplinary artist, writer, and researcher Jp King creates non-narrative, non-verbal films in a style called “sensory ethnography." His focus for this project, "The Death of Everyday Objects," is on the clutter, garbage and waste that accumulates in all our lives. In exploring homes, waste sites and recycling depots, he examines material culture and the objects that we amass on a daily basis.

Jp King was a participant in the Visual + Digital Arts residency Banff Research in Culture - Demos: Life in Common at Banff Centre in 2015. You can see more of Jp King’s work on his website www.jpking.ca
