The Destination Smokehouse situation just took another strange turn.

After the owner put out a public statement trying to clear things up about the situation with Mr. Tendernism, saying that Walt was never fired and that he wishes him the best moving forward, it looked like things might finally calm down. But that didn’t last long.

Singer SZA noticed something in the comments that immediately raised eyebrows. Someone commented under the post calling Mr. Tendernism a “mascot,” questioning how much a mascot is supposed to make. The bigger issue is that the comment showed it was liked by the author, meaning the owner had liked it.

Not long after that, the comment and the like disappeared, but screenshots were already captured. That moment made the whole PR post look completely different, especially considering everything that has been said publicly about supporting Walt.

At the same time, there’s also a positive update in this situation. Mr. Tendernism has finally regained control of his trademark after a lawyer stepped in and helped him secure it, showing that the community has been rallying around him through all of this.
