Hi All,

This is The Green Fan Project. As the name suggests, it involves a green fan. The fan itself has served its purpose well but has started to rattle and annoy me to a point where I can no longer sit next to it. Therefore, performing a DIY upgrade was well due.

In this first part we learn the idea and implement it - giving the fan some extra flexibility - such as making easier future replacement of parts and stepless speed/airflow/noise control.

I have some ideas for Part 2, but if you have any ideas and comments, please post them in the comments section.
