🔍 What is P0445?
P0445 means that the Engine Control Module (ECM) has detected a problem in the Evaporative Emission Control System (EVAP) purge valve circuit.

💨 What is the EVAP System?
The EVAP system prevents fuel vapors from escaping into the atmosphere. It stores and controls the release of fuel vapors into the engine for combustion.

⚠️ Why Did P0445 Get Triggered?
Your car’s computer detected an issue with the electrical circuit controlling the purge valve, leading to the check engine light turning on.

🔧 Common Root Causes of P0445:
🔹 Purge Valve Stuck Open or Closed – Prevents proper vapor flow.
🔹 Open Circuit in Purge Valve Wiring – Can cause communication failure.
🔹 Damaged, Burnt, Shorted, or Corroded Connectors – Interrupts the circuit.
