The arcade classic came home early in the life of the Genesis. Was it any good?

Episode Notes:

1. Captured on the Mega SG.

2. I wanted to show lots of gameplay with the different weapons but that proved to be really difficult because so many of the weapons suck. I used cheats for many of those segments.

3. While the graphics are very nice for a home game in 1989, the arcade is still quite a bit more detailed.

4. It's a shame the Supergrafx never saw any real support. I think its version of this game really showed it had lots of potential.

5. Ghouls'n Ghosts marked the beginning of a great relationship between Sega and Capcom. We ended up with many of their games on the Genesis.

6. Don't be afraid of the practice mode. It reduces difficulty a bit but is a great confidence builder.
