Come ride in the car with me as we go for a car ride through Houston, Texas. We will drive down West Grey along the edges of River Oaks past an art deco shopping center built in the 1930s. We will pass the River Oaks Theater and see the palm trees along the side of the road.

After we drive along West Grey in Houston, we will turn onto the Allen Parkway and head towards downtown. We will pick up speed for this part of our drive and see the skyline of the City of Houston in the background as we head for downtown. It is the end of rush hour and there are still lots of vehicles on the road and pedestrians walking around.

Once we hit downtown Houston, Texas we will see a lot more cars on the road. As we drive between the skyscrapers the sun will begin to set, casting a warm glow on the buildings. There are still a lot of people leaving work on a Friday evening.

Hurricane Delta is making landfall on the coast of Louisiana, and the skies are starting to turn cloudy. The strong winds have been whipping through the branches of the trees in Houston, but the storm will miss the city. Aside from being overcast and some light misting rainfall, Houston is thankfully spared from Hurricane Delta, which will have a significant impact where it makes landfall in Louisiana.

This little handheld camera is very easy to pack because of its small size. It is not as rugged as the GoPro, but is easy to carry and make stable video. I use the creator combo version which includes an additional battery and a microphone that can be clipped to your shirt for improved audio which I like for filming walking tours.
