New Agrarian Emancipation Act (RA 11953)

A fulfillment of the promise to continue what was started by his late father, President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. signed the New Agrarian Emancipation Act (RA 11953), condoning all agrarian debts, interests, and surcharges incurred by agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) from land awarded to them under existing agrarian reform laws.

The enactment of this landmark legislation begins the journey toward rural development and sustainable agriculture as it aims to revitalize farming communities through land redistribution, financial support, and equitable access to resources.
