In Fulton Sheen's new book, On the Demonic, Sheen outlines the three major signs of the demonic: love of nudity, violence, and the schizophrenic mentality/loss of identity.

As Fr. Dave Tomaszycki explains, the devil twists and corrupts all that God has made- he is a perverter of the good and beautiful. Regarding the human body and our sexual nature, it is inherently good and pure. However, because of the Fall and sin, lust and shame entered the world and have invaded our sexuality.

To return to understanding and living out human sexuality in its intended design, we must die to ourselves and imitate Christ in His perfection. Only through Christ can we achieve correct virtue and have mastery over our passions and desire.

The devil, through his corruption, offers the demonic path of sexuality which ultimately leads to slavery to the passions, abuse and objectification of the body, and damnation.
