The life of an immigrant is often playful and fun, but it can also be tough because you have to live away from your loved ones. Before making the decision to go abroad and settle there, it's crucial to assess the impact on your life. We often leave our home country to study, only to find ourselves caught in a matrix of student loans, jobs, permanent residency, and then house loans.

After 6-8 years, we realize that the things we've missed are of utmost importance, like being with our mother and father, sharing life's moments with them, and living in our own home country.

I felt a deep sadness when I noticed the wrinkles on my mother's face, realizing that while we are growing up, our parents are getting older. I'm not sure what I was seeking when I came here, but now, I often wish I could go back in time and change my decision to be away from them.

Don't be sad, my friends. Your life is what you make of it. Change your life by doing what you truly want. It's never too late. Do it today. I'll do it today.
