Monster Hunter PS2 | Final Village Quest: A Troublesome Pair! First Clear (Lance)

First clear of the final village quest on Monster Hunter PS2. Its a Rathalos and a Rathian in the Swamp Zone but they have their high rank stats apparently.

Not a clean run. Not at all in fact, some areas were kind of sloppy. I might have OVER prepared for this hunt (As you see me fumble with my bag) I wanted to save traps for Rathian and use Flash Bombs for both (Mostly for Rathalos). Best part of this quest is that there is NO small monsters thank heavens for that.

After playing the original game I can only recommend it IF you just want to play for novelty sake or if you're up to the challenge. I feel like the game does get TOO much of a bad rap. I still think it can be fun but man there is ALOT of gathering you got to do and filler before you get to the good stuff. I did get used to the camera and weapon controls quickly but gathering/dodging and sprint/guarding it took awhile because muscle memory bit my ass. All of that being said I mostly did have a fun time with the game. Still sitting here waiting for Sunbreak like everyone else.

Played on PCSX2. Armor is Full Rathalos Set and Undertaker Lance.
