Clashes Break Out Between TMC BJP Workers | TMC Accuses BJP's Rekha Patra Of Assault | Sandeshkhali

The Trinamool Congress (TMC) on Sunday wrote to the Election Commission of India (ECI) seeking criminal proceedings against National Commission for Women (NCW) chairperson Rekha Sharma and some BJP members for the alleged atrocities on women in the Sandeshkhali area of West Bengal.

In its complaint, the ruling party in Bengal sought action against Sharma and some BJP members, including Piyali Das, for "commission of serious offences of forgery, cheating, fraud, intimidation and criminal conspiracy on innocent women of Sandeshkhali".
