The Kotobukiya store in Akihabara, Tokyo, doesn't carry any Gunpla, but they have a lot of really cool stuff! Loads of merchandise from games and anime series like Pokemon, Monster Hunter, etc. Loads of Star Wars merch- LOADS of Star Wars. And all of the awesome Kotobukiya kits like Frame Arms, Zoids, Armored Core, Muv-Luv, and more! Also a great place to pick up Kotobukiya MSG option parts!
