Ocho Rios Cruise Terminal, Jamaica

Описание к видео Ocho Rios Cruise Terminal, Jamaica

Ocho Rios Cruise Terminal (also Turtle Bay Pier) is located in St Ann, Jamaica.

There are two piers for cruise ships to dock in Ocho Rios:
1. Ocho Rios Jamaica Cruise Port the main pier aka Turtle Bay Pier.
2. Reynold's Pier aka James Bond Pier (old bauxite mine pier).

The Turtle Bay Pier is a purpose built cruise terminal which has enough space for two mid-sized ships although, in reality, most of the time is used only by one mega-ship.

The Ocho Rios Jamaica Cruise Port is connected directly to the center of town via a shopping area. As a result, it is a short walk to the public beach, shops and restaurants.

Note: The Reynold's Pier is Ocho Rios' second cruise ship pier. It is used only when more than one cruise ship is calling at Ocho Rios on the same day.

Getting Around!
If docking at the Turtle Bay Pier, which has a T shape, passengers will walk less than 300 feet (100 meters) from the gangway to a terminal-secured area.

If you are planning to go to anywhere in Jamaica, the officially certified taxis are found by the pier. Fixed fares are clearly displayed on boards. With few exceptions displayed prices are for a round trip.
