The Esterbrook Estie fountain pen is cigar shaped with rounded ends on both the cap and the barrel of the pen.

The lilac purple resin is beautiful. Watch the video for a great closeup look at this particular Esterbrook Estie finish. Unscrew the Estie’s cap and you’ll get a look at the #6 German JOWO nib. You’ll notice the Esterbrook logo on the stainless steel nib. The Esterbrook Estie fountain pen comes with a converter included, but you can also use standard International cartridges with any Esterbrook Estie (and there is one included). This pen’s reviewer, Lady Vigee, thought it was important to note that the pen features a cushion cap closure to seal the pen and keep ink fresh.
