Today we're going to be reviewing part number STL3RB. This is the Square LED Trailer Tail Light with the License Plate Light for the left hand side of your trailer from Optronics. The red, square trailer light is going to serve 8 functions for trailers more than 80" wide such as your Stop, Turn, Tail, Rear Clearance, Rear Reflex, Side Marker, Side Reflex, and License Plate Illuminator. It has a corrosion resistant design. It's going to feature 23 LEDs and it also features a replaceable lens. The stud mounts on left side of your trailer with two studs. If we measure the distance that we have between these two, center on center.

That's going to give us a measurement right at 2". It's going to include the nut and the flat washer for each stud. The wiring design is going to contain your lead wires and your ground wire. If we take a look at the dimensions, the overall length is going to give us a measurement of 6 1/4". The width is going to measure 4 3/4" and then the depth is going to measure 2 11/16". The light is going to draw 0.268/.144 amps at 12.8 volts.

We're going to go ahead and hook it up to our external power source and show you what it looks like with power running to it. With our overhead lights turned off. Now, here on the back, it does have indicators to tell you what wire is for what function. The brown wire is going to be for our tail light.

We'll go and hook that up and then the yellow wire is going to be for our stop and turn signal. You can see there that the tail light functions sends out a nice consistent LED signal with the License Plate Illuminator there on the bottom. Then when we apply our turn signal lights, it's going to illuminate for a brighter signal. That's going to do it for today's review of part number STL3RB.
