The political right is sharpening its plans for putting their alarming agenda into action, and is sure to keep dividing the nation with anti-LGBTQ legislation. The Supreme Court is strangling our rights. How can our community rise to this moment, show up collectively, and fight back? How can we move—together—from reactive to active in the face of inevitable future attacks, and what lessons can we learn from the times and places we’ve played offense?

State of the Movement 2024: Our Collective Power was a free, virtual discussion and live Q&A between Horizons President Roger Doughty and LGBTQ leaders Fran Hutchins, Executive Director of Equality Federation; Andy Marra, CEO of Advocates for Trans Equality; Ricardo Martinez, Executive Director of GLBTQ Legal Advocates & Defenders; and Shannon Minter, Legal Director at the National Center for Lesbian Rights about the present and future of the queer movement.
