In an interview for LBC, Donald Trump tells Nigel Farage he and Boris Johnson should unite for the general election and deliver a clean break Brexit.

Donald Trump has said Boris Johnson is the "exact right guy for the times" and he and Nigel Farage would be an "unstoppable force" together, while Jeremy Corbyn would be "so bad" for the UK.

Speaking to Nigel Farage on LBC in advance of the December election, Mr Trump said Mr Johnson was a "fantastic man".Hinting at an electoral pact between the Tories and Brexit Party at the next election, Mr Trump said that Mr Farage and Mr Johnson would "end up doing something terrific" if they were to work together.

"And I’d like to see you and Boris get together. Because you would really have some numbers, because you did fantastically in the last election," he said.

The Prime Minister has repeatedly ruled out any pact with the Brexit Party in the lead-up to the Dec 12 election.
