Judgement Day!!
Ricky Parker-Morris starts from the back of the grid for the final round of the CSCC Special Saloon Series @ Snetterton 2013 after a weekend of problems and bad weather.
Turn up the sound, sit back, and enjoy it like we did on the day...
This is an epic made possible by the mighty Ray Addis of Meryworth Services who managed to resurrect the Thundersaloon 309 Cosworth from a traumatic differential explosion whilst testing on the Friday previous, causing the diff to dump its contents and get rather hot and wobble !
Friday night and the Saturday saw Ray and the team (Mad Alex Goody-Brake Tech, Danny- No:1 Driver, Ricky- Logistics and No:2 Driver, Nicky- Physio & Catering, Helena-Mum & Sponsor, Chris- Main Sponsor- Holmes Seafood and JD- Transport & Entertainment, miraculously rebuild the differential from spare tractor parts loaned by local farmers along with free milk heated up to get us through the night !
All was good for the Sunday with two races, yes two races to test the car once again and pitch their skills against the awesome and mighty field of Special Saloons, but rain fell moments before the first race in the morning and Ricky was blinded by the spray and fogged up screen to such a point he had retire to the pits in fear of his life !
Danny felt brother Ricky had been under dealt with poor luck over the season and kindly handed him the final race of the year to prove the point of Team 309...
With an earlier DNF, Ricky was demoted yet again to the back of the grid so the adrenaline began to flow, and flow it did indeed!!
We don't want to spoil your fun so just click and play and the rest is history, but before you experience this 2013 epic we want you to know that without the other competitors in the CSCC Special Saloon Series video like this simply isn't possible to a special thanks to all the other drivers for the year, especially the talented and wise Paul Sibley and Joe Ward who drive like gentlemen which proves it can be done at speeds in excess of 150mph without a scratch even!!
