The long-awaited action drama starring Salman Khan is reportedly in advanced development, with Atlee (director of Jawan) locked in to helm the project. And the power-packed team doesn’t stop there. Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan are said to be on board for key roles, with A.R. Murugadoss crafting the story.
Salman Khan will be seen in a rugged, high-octane role, possibly as a vigilante or jungle-based warrior fighting corruption and injustice in a way only he can. with fists, fire, and flair. Sher Khan was originally envisioned as a forest action-adventure, and now with Atlee’s dynamic, massy style, it's expected to become a massive pan-India action entertainer.
Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan are rumored to play pivotal mentor and antagonist roles respectively. a triple-star clash of legends that could become one of the biggest highlights of the film.
Produced on a grand scale with stylized action, family drama, and strong social undertones, Sher Khan is expected to go on floors in late 2024, with a 2025 release targeted. An official announcement with motion poster could be coming on Eid or Salman’s birthday.
