Personally I think the Phillips wake up light is too difficult to use for the cost. For $120 it should work flawlessly and be very easy to use. I've had it for almost a year and barely used it because I woke my wife up several times thinking I had turned the alarm off but actually snoozed or didn't realize the alarm was on.

In my opinion it's a case of building a better mouse trap. The totobay is much simpler and cheaper. The only downside is that the lighting is not as gradual as the Phillips wake up light alarm clock.
