Описание к видео Bike Ride POV - Full Trail of the Coeur d’Alenes - 72 miles

Beautiful scenic bike ride from Plummer, Idaho to Mullan, Idaho alongside Lake Coeur d’Alene, up the Chain Lakes and finally part way up Lookout Pass on the Idaho/Montana border.

The Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes is a paved trail following a former Union Pacific Railroad route.

Starting in Plummer, the trail begins with a 5 mile downhill section to Heyburn State Park at the southern end of Lake Coeur d'Alene. From there, cross over the stunning Chatcolet Bridge and follow the eastern shore of the lake north towards Harrison. Stop in Harrison for breakfast, a coffee or some fantastic ice cream from the Harrison Creamery.

Leaving Harrison, the trail meanders up the Coeur d'Alene River through the chain lakes where you are sure to see a variety of wildlife from birds to moose.

Following this section, the trail continues east through the charming towns of Cataldo, Pinehurst, Smelterville, Kellogg and Osburn before reaching the historic town of Wallace.

At this point the trail begins to climb Lookout Pass and eventually comes to an end at the Mullan Trailhead near the Idaho/Montana border.
