How to CORRECTLY beat Specimen 6 without taking damage - Spooky's Jump Scare Mansion OG

Описание к видео How to CORRECTLY beat Specimen 6 without taking damage - Spooky's Jump Scare Mansion OG

This is a demonstration video for newer players of Spooky's Jump Scare Mansion to show how Specimen 6 works, and the correct way to beat him. As most players figure out, he is similar to a weeping angel in that he only moves when you don't keep your eye on him. But there a bit more to him than just that, as many players struggle with his mechanic, especially those who are playing the game for the first time.

In this video, I demonstrate how he deal with him by a room-by-room basis, as he is easier to deal with in certain room layouts, and harder in others. I have added helpful tips and hints throughout the video, but I will still add the most important tips below:

TIPS AND HINTS:

1. You can open doors with your back facing them.

2. You can sprint backwards.

3. He can appear inside walls. But that still counts as looking at him. Even though you may not be able to see him, he can still see you. If you don't see him and he's not attacking, it means you are looking in the correct direction.

4. He will spawn in your vicinity after about 3 or 4 seconds of entering each room. That means in rooms that take less than about 3 seconds to run through, you don't need to turn around. Just run for it. But if the room takes longer than 3 or 4 seconds to run through, he WILL attack if you are not looking in the direction of where he last appeared.

5. Continuing on from the previous point, it can sometimes be hard to judge where he will spawn, especially if the room loops around or whatnot. Usually he will appear behind you, but in looping rooms, that may not always be the case. He can sometimes spawn inside the wall, which makes it harder to judge where he is. DO NOT stand there and wait for him to show up. If you stand idle for more than 10 seconds, he will suddenly disappear and possibly attack. So make sure you're always moving during his chase.

6. In the long maze rooms, known as abyss rooms, you must keep your eye on him for the entire room, which means backwards walking/sprinting. Keep in mind that even if he disappears into the darkness, he is still there. He won't move for the entire room as long as you're facing the direction of where he last appeared. If you have to look away to see where you're going, make sure you only do so for less than about 0.5 seconds, as he will move closer to you if you look away from him for more than about a half a second.

If you have any of other questions or concerns about Specimen 6 (or ANY specimen for that matter), I'll be sure to answer them to the best of my abilities! Good luck!
