A good strapless bra really extends your wardrobe choices but can be especially hard to find.

In my quest for the perfect, or at least tolerable, strapless bra I started with online research and followed it up with trying on bras in-store and at home. For me the winner was the Wacoal Red Carpet bra! It was mentioned over and over in best strapless bra lists for regular and full figure cup sizes and felt the best on for me.

I wear a 34 DD almost a DDD and I need a lot of support. The Wacoal Red Carpet bra has boning and silicone strips which helps it feel secure.

For smaller cup sizes the bra I saw mentioned a lot was the Pepper MVP Multiway Strapless bra.

I also liked the Victoria’s Secret Sexy Illusions bra; it was very comfortable, but it was not supportive enough for me. If you don’t need a lot of support, give this one a try for comfort.

Wacoal B Tempted was recommended by a saleswoman and felt pretty good too but it has lace sides which is not my preference, so I did not bring it home for an extended try on.

The Natori Feathers bra had good reviews, but the cup shape was too shallow for me.

Victoria’s Secret Body by Victoria strapless was recommended by a saleswoman and felt great in the dressing room and has a softer grip method (not sticky silicone) but felt like it would slip when I tried it on at home.

Third Love 24/7 has cups that curve back to the body at the top and my breasts spilled over, and it wasn’t flattering on me.

Amazon Essentials also had a softer grip method with no silicone but felt like it would slip down on me. Great price though!
