• China's Erasure of Memories and History in the Digital World: China has blocked tens of Tibetan non-government Tibetan language websites, leaving only two or three non-Tibetan language websites remaining. Specifically, they have erased the archives of thousands of articles, live discussions, and blogs. The New York Times published an article titled 'As China's Internet Disappears, 'We Lose Parts of Our Collective Memory' by journalist Li Yuan. The focus is on Chinese people discovering that, beneath a facade bustling with short videos, livestreaming, and e-commerce, their internet - and collective online memory - is disappearing in chunks.
