2018 NARCOA Motorcar Excursion on the Indiana Eastern Railroad

On August 18, 2018 the North American Railcar Operators Association made their annual excursion along the Indiana Eastern. The railroad was once part of the C&O's mainline from Cincinnati to Chicago. CSX operated the route until the Early 2000s when IERR took over. Much of the C&O route has been abandoned including 18+ miles between Cincinnati and Fernald, Ohio as well as much of the track north of Richmond, Indiana. This motorcar trip ran over most of the 43 miles that the Indiana Eastern operates. This video covers the southbound run from Bath Indiana to the end of track as well as the northbound run over the large trestle at Okeana Ohio.
