Tonight we mount the Toyota Land Cruiser FJ62 HF2A transfer case to the Advance Adapters LS Swap mount!!! This has been a long time coming and it feels great to finally have it together!!
Project Elsie is a 1990 Toyota Land Cruiser with a 235k mile 5.3 and 4L60 swap that is mated to the factory Toyota Transfer Case using an Advance Adapters billet aluminum plate. We adapted universal engine mounts, modified the factory crossmember and had a local shop cut down the rear driveshaft. We used Corvette C5 exhaust manifolds, donated by a friend, to clear the front driveshaft and fit between the frame rails.
