A fresh row started after UP CM Yogi Adiytanath linked Sanatan Dharma to civilization. On Friday, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh called 'Sanatan Dharma' the "national religion" and urged all citizens to respect it. Further, CM Yogi argued that campaigns should be launched to rebuild any holy sites that have been demolished or desecrated in the past, as was done with the Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya. "Our Sanatan Dharma is India's "Rashtriya Dharma," stated CM Yogi. When we rise above selfishness, we forge a bond with "Rashtriya Dharma." Our country is secure because of our connection to the national religion. 'CM Yogi declared that Sanatan Dharma is the national religion of India.
