In this piece, Aaron Biebert (Director - A Billion Lives, You Don’t Know Nicotine) wraps up our SPOTLIGHT Series in Canada by reflecting on the past seven years covering this topic and all the people our team has met along the way.

As part of this final piece, we wanted to give people who care about their neighbors a chance to listen deeply to one unheard voice, Ray Yeates. Ray is a leader in tobacco harm reduction in the country, the founder of THRA Canada, and sadly his story reflects the same struggle that millions of people have gone through, and are still going through: They are desperate to be heard.
