Originally a 1984 BMW K 100, this machine has undergone a complete metamorphosis, blending classic cafe racer aesthetics with modern engineering and innovative touches.

The transformation begins at the rear of the bike. RF-Biketech crafted a completely new custom subframe, paired with a longer billet aluminum swingarm, providing improved geometry and a cleaner, more aggressive stance. To manage the new suspension setup, the team installed a high-grade adjustable shock from Wilbers, ensuring precise handling and comfort. The original three-spoke rear wheel was widened to accommodate a 180-section tire, giving the bike both enhanced grip and a muscular profile.

At the front, the modifications are slightly more restrained but equally impressive. The stock forks were overhauled and fitted with CNC-machined triple clamps, while a custom 17-inch three-piece hoop completes the front wheel assembly. Both rims wear premium Bridgestone rubber for maximum traction, and the braking system has been upgraded with braided stainless-steel hoses, providing both style and stopping power. These mechanical updates ensure that the bike performs as well as it looks.

The BMW K 100’s bodywork has been dramatically reshaped, leaving only the fuel tank in its stock form. The tank’s sides were meticulously reworked to harmonize with the custom lines of the cafe racer. A slim tail section supports a bespoke black leather saddle, while integrated multi-function LED lights serve as both taillights and turn signals. The front fender, crafted from scratch, complements the clean design, while an LED headlight ensures modern illumination.

Cockpit upgrades further enhance the bike’s functionality and aesthetics. A digital Motoscope Pro dash from Motogadget is recessed neatly into the upper triple clamp, providing a sleek interface for rider information. Clip-on handlebars carry adjustable control levers, bar-end turn signals, and underslung mirrors, giving the bike a minimalist yet functional control layout. All electronics are powered by a custom wiring harness routed through Motogadget’s popular control unit.

One of the standout features of this build is the bespoke four-into-one exhaust system. Neatly routed under the seat and through the tail section, this handcrafted pipework is both a functional upgrade and a visual masterpiece. Billet rearsets complement the clip-ons and provide a solid, ergonomic platform for the rider, while the swingarm-mounted license plate holder keeps the tail section clean and uncluttered.

Finally, the livery chosen by RF-Biketech elevates the overall design. A striking combination of bright orange with arctic camouflage accents creates a bold visual statement, turning the BMW K 100 into a rolling piece of art. Every detail, from the suspension to the bodywork to the electronics, showcases RF-Biketech’s commitment to both performance and style.

The result is a cafe racer that’s impossible to ignore: a bike that blends classic BMW engineering with contemporary custom touches, producing a machine that is both beautiful and rideable.
