1960s rock and rollers, The Kingsmen faced accusations of corrupting America's youth after popularizing the song “Louie Louie.”

The moral panic got so loud that the FBI spent over two years determinedly searching for “obscene lyrics.” But even with this extensive effort, the FBI still missed the drummer shouting “F*CK” in the background of the track.

This just goes to show — censorship is not worth the effort.
