Arc Hunter ASCENDED - The TANKIEST Build In The Game

In today's video we go over my new build focused on the brand new Ascension Aspect that maximizes it's uptime and potency as well providing a ton of other insane effects like a total of 81.63% Damage Resistance, high damage grenades AND competitive DPS!

Ever since they released the previews for The Final Shape the new Hunter Aspect Ascension really caught my eye and from then on I knew I wanted to make a build focused on it, which brings us to today's video! I went through lots of testing on Prismatic but eventually Settled on Arc Hunter since I believe it complements the playstyle far better than Prismatic ever could. The core of the build revolves around the neat interaction between the Arc Aspect Flow State and of course, Ascension. Ascension makes you Amplified, which with Flow State accelerates your class ability regeneration rate by 200% (or 3x) while Amplified, which results in you being able to spam the ability almost back-to-back also with the addition of a few important mods. Gifted Conviction is our choice of Exotic since it will make our Ascension spawn mini detonators that also Jolt but more importantly, any source of Jolt we apply will buff us with stacks of Resist, which at the maximum of x4 we get a 50% global Damage Reduction from all sources. This combined with our choices of Artifact perks and more makes for quite a potent and fun build, not to mention we still get to take advantage of Still Hunt to output competitive DPS.
