नमस्कार दोस्तों, आप सभी को सावन का महीना शुरू होने की हार्दिक शुभकामनाएं। सावन और भगवान भोलेनाथ का बहुत गहरा नाता है। सावन का महीना शिव शंकर भगवान को अत्यंत प्रिय है। भगवान विष्णु के सो जाने के बाद सावन मास में भगवान भोलेनाथ ही सृष्टि के संचालन का कार्य देखते हैं। इसलिए देशभर में सभी शिव मंदिरों में श्रद्धालुओं की भारी भीड़ लगी रहती है। शिवभक्त सावन मास में आने वाले प्रत्येक सोमवार के दिन उपवास रखते हैं। पुराणों में बताया गया है कि अन्य दिनों की अपेक्षा सावन में शिव जी की सच्चे मन से पूजा करने पर कई गुना लाभ मिलता है।
सावन सोमवार के व्रत शुरू करने से पहले यह तय करें कि आपको कौन सा व्रत करना हो. सोमवार का तीन प्रकार का व्रत होता है.
पहला सावन में आने वाले प्रत्येक सोमवार का व्रत , दूसरा सोलह सोमवार का व्रत और तीसरा सौम्य प्रदोष ।किसी भी सोमवार व्रत को सावन माह में आरंभ करना शुभ माना जाता है।
सोमवार व्रत की विधि सभी व्रतों में समान होती है | जो व्यक्ति सोलह सोमवार का व्रत शुरू करना चाहता है, सोलह सोमवार का व्रत शुरू करने की सोच रहा है तो सावन के पहले सोमवार से ही सोलह सोमवार का व्रत शुरू करना अत्यंत शुभ होता है। मान्यता के अनुसार श्रावण मास के सोमवार व्रत, प्रदोष व्रत तथा और शिवरात्री का व्रत जो भी व्यक्ति करता है, उसकी कोई कामना अधूरी नहीं रहती है। यह व्रत 12 ज्योतिर्लिंगों के दर्शन के समान फल देता है।

Hello friends, Wishing you all a very Happy Sawan month. There is a very deep relation between Sawan and Lord Bholenath. The month of Sawan is very dear to Lord Shiva. In the month of Sawan after Lord Vishnu fell asleep, only Lord Bholenath looks after the operation of the universe. Therefore, there is a huge crowd of devotees in all Shiva temples across the country. Shiva devotees observe fast on every Monday coming in the month of Sawan. It has been told in the Puranas that worshiping Lord Shiva with a sincere heart gives manifold benefits as compared to other days.
Before starting the fast of Sawan Somwar, decide which fast you want to observe. There are three types of fasting on Monday.
The first is fasting on every Monday that comes in the month of Sawan, the second is fasting for sixteen Mondays and the third is Soumya Pradosh. It is considered auspicious to start any Monday fast in the month of Sawan.
The method of Monday fasting is same in all the fasts. The person who wants to start the fast of Solah Somvar, is thinking of starting the fast of Solah Somwar, then it is very auspicious to start the fast of Solah Somvar from the first Monday of Sawan itself. According to the belief, whoever observes fast on Monday of Shravan month, Pradosh fast and Shivratri, no wish of him remains unfulfilled. This fast gives results similar to the sighting of 12 Jyotirlingas.
