After changing the ignition coils, spark plug cables, acceleration handle, and the kill switch, I tested again my outboard. I love 2 strokes outboards because the mechanical simplicity and the hability to upgrade your unit with parts from newer models. In this case I installed the coils and wires of a 1985, and also the acceleration handle with a speed control. I also put a cork sound insulation, because the otiginal (rubber foam) was peeling off, and I found particles in the carburator. It runs perfect now and I'm plannig to go to the sea next weekend for a ride. Thanks for watching. Hope that it was fun!
