Pramod Uttam Sonje brings over 25 years of diverse experience in the automotive industry, spanning driveline systems, transmission aggregates, and program management. At Tata Motors, he leads product planning and program management for both commercial and passenger vehicles across ICE and EV platforms, covering a spectrum from heavy-duty 55+ ton trucks to compact hatchbacks. His contributions include the successful launch of BS6-compliant gearboxes, rear axles, and advanced transmission systems such as manual, AMT, and DCT units for vehicles like Nexon, Altroz, and Punch. Pramod also played a key role in developing EV driveline systems, including eTransaxles and eGearboxes for commercial vehicles, while managing projects exceeding ₹300 crore and ensuring quality, cost, and timeline alignment. His foundation in mechanical design, gained through early roles at Tata Motors and Premier Automobiles, further strengthens his expertise in precision engineering, process optimization, and cross-functional project execution.
