Tasting Sangiovese: Chianti vs Brunello and What's "Super Tuscan" wine? Wine #39 of 52

Описание к видео Tasting Sangiovese: Chianti vs Brunello and What's "Super Tuscan" wine? Wine #39 of 52

Sangiovese is as synonymous with Tuscany, Italy as Cabernet is to Napa Valley. And just like Napa there are many sub regions within Tuscany where we find great examples of this varietal. This week is a head-to-head tasting of a Sangiovese from Chianti Classico and a Brunello di Montalcino. Other examples of Tuscan Sangiovese wines include Rosso di Montepulciano and Vino Noble di Montepulciano - which is NOT to be confused with the grape Montepulciano d'Abruzzo!
All of these are examples of Sangiovese, and each region offers different subtle variations on this incredibly food friendly varietal. So grab a slice of Margherita pizza and sit back and enjoy the episode!
