EP 50 Manatee rescue, 500# 2 year old baby going back into the St. John's River, Get Up Lets' Go!

Well after checking out the boats and riding the river, we got back to the hard dirt just in time to see them preparing the tracking device on a young manatee. They track them to make sure they are eating and socializing with other manatee's in the river. It was so interesting to see the care they give them. I also did not realize that they breath just like us, no gills. It just laid there as peaceful and did not wiggle like he knew they were helping him.
It was so interesting to see the other manatee's as they put him in the water.
Several came across the lake like they were greeting him and welcoming him back home. Very interesting. Great experience.
