Migrate from VMware to Azure Stack HCI with Azure Migrate

Many customers are looking for alternatives to VMware and considering a switch to Microsoft Azure Stack HCI. Azure Stack HCI is built on the same foundation as Microsoft Azure which is used by 95% of Fortune 500 companies.

But once you’ve decided to switch to Azure Stack HCI, how will you migration your VMs and data? Azure Migrate (in preview) is an upcoming migration service from Microsoft that enables you to move VMs from an existing Hyper-V environment to Azure Stack HCI version 23H2. Azure Migrate acts as the control plane, but the data transfer stays entirely on-premises. Support for VMware vCenter source environments is coming soon.
