2023 Boston College Eagles Spring Football Game

Boston College's spring practices ended with the annual Jay McGillis Memorial Spring football game at Alumni Stadium. The Eagles' defense defeated the offensive team, 69-42. Quarterback Emmett Morehead went 14-25 for 151 yards and a touchdown. Taji Johnson was the leading receiver with 41 yards on three receptions. The Eagles' defensive backs were some of the game's biggest standouts with five interceptions and eight pass breakups. Amarri Jackson had three interceptions. At halftime, Elijah Jones was given the Jay McGillis Memorial Scholarship which is given to the defensive back that exemplifies dedication, leadership, competitive spirit, and personal concern for family, friends, and teammates.
