Another short trip travelling with British Airways, this time to Paris Charles De Gaulle. This 45 minute flight was delayed by approximately 45 minutes before our departure from London Heathrow. The flight was fairly busy, with 7 rows of seats dedicated to the Club Europe cabin.
Once the stormy weather moved along, normal departure operations resumed on runway 27L. Our departure took us out to the west before initiating a left turn to head in a southerly direction with a wonderful view of the British countryside. General departure altitude restrictions meant that we were held at various altitudes for some time before climbing to our cruising altitude, this really brought out the joy of the IAE engines.

We were offered complimentary drinks and a small bite to eat as part of the club europe experience, as economy ticket holders must now buy drinks and snacks from the onboard bar provided by M&S. The flying time was very short and we were soon to begin descent after starting the cruise. It became a little bumpy upon arrival into Paris, with a firm touchdown on runway 26L at CDG. After touchdown, full reverse thrust was applied in which you can hear the sound greatly increase as we decelerated, rather exciting!

There are two lounges at Heathrow T5 for business class travelling customers, in this video, you can see scenes from the South lounge which was huge, but had good facilities. It was a shame that it was very busy however. Although, apart from the delayed departure, it was a wonderful flight and nice to fly once again on the A321 from London Heathrow.
