This is my main argument as to why you can't use microcodes like Turbo3D or F3DLP with Super Mario 64. The lack of texture perspective correction will ruin textures that are drawn on triangles.

The only thing that perspective correction doesn't affect are textured rectangles, like the HUD. The dialog text is drawn using triangles, which is why they look so messed up.
