New Disc Golf Course at Yellow Creek Park

Yellow Creek Park opened to the public on May 20, 1978, exactly 46 years ago.

Daviess County Fiscal Court marked the occasion with a ribbon cutting for a new 18-hole disc golf course.

For today's announcement, Judge/Executive Charlie Castlen was joined by Dutch Napier, a professionally ranked disc golf player from Owensboro.

Napier designed the new "Creekside" course with support from H.B. Clark Signature Disc Golf Course Designs.

The layout of the course may be found on the UDisc app. With this addition, Daviess County Parks & Recreation maintains three 18-hole courses, two at Yellow Creek Park and one at Panther Creek Park.
