I come across a man named Jacob Taylor, who is under heavy fire from mechs. He tells me the situation must be bad if Miranda has me up and going. He promises to tell me what happened when the Normandy exploded after we deal with the mechs. After putting them down, he gives me a rundown of what happened. The Normandy was attacked by an unknown ship. Cerberus found me, dead as dead can be when I arrived, and spent 2 years rebuilding me. He also tells me that most of the crew moved on after the Normandy's destruction. I want to find them as soon as I get the opportunity. We are about to move out when a man named Wilson contacts us. He needs help. When we get there, he is badly wounded. After healing him, we fight our way to the shuttle bay. When we get to the shuttle bay, we meet Miranda after she shoots Wilson square in the chest.
