McLeod Software announced an enhanced solution for private fleet trucking operations, called LoadMaster Private Fleet. Flexible configuration options allow McLeod customers to use LoadMaster Private Fleet to accommodate a wide range of business processes, while taking advantage of a robust and broad set of functional capabilities, including dispatch, planning, safety, and integration with a broad range of ELD products.

Penske Truck Leasing has unveiled an industry first AI platform that delivers real-time insight into fleet performance, marking a shift away from traditional industry benchmarks, and empowering fleet managers with actionable intelligence to optimize fleet performance using dynamic comparative data.
The Catalyst AI platform compares a fleet's performance to similar fleets across Penske's live database of hundreds of thousands of vehicles in real-time. This platform enables leaders to benchmark their fleets using apples-to-apples comparisons, unlock fuel efficiency opportunities, and optimize utilization and business performance using targeted insights.
By integrating more than 57 billion data points with AI, Senior Vice President of Digital and Customer Data Ann Walsh says Penske’s patent-pending algorithm and industry expertise enables fleet managers to better optimize their operations using leading-edge technology.
The Penske algorithm identifies the most-similar fleets by evaluating key dimensions of fleet operations and composition. This process creates a unique "fleet DNA," enabling highly customized operational KPI benchmarks tailored to each fleet's specific performance needs.

Dynamic Speed Management provider E-SMART has added a new capability that adds a backing speed limiter that reduces the potential for accidents at company and customer facilities while the truck in in reverse.
E-SMART senior vice president Joe Thell said about 30% of commercial vehicle accidents. E-SMART Reverse allows companies to set speed limits for commercial vehicles on their properties. It adds the ability to set maximum reverse speeds in geofenced locations. If a driver attempts to go faster in reverse than allowed within a company specified speed zone, E-SMART limits the throttle and prevents the vehicle from exceeding the threshold.

• Relay Payments has launched an integration that enables carriers to use their Relay accounts in the Weigh My Truck app from CAT Scale, allowing drivers to use Relay to pay for scales at more than 2,200 locations nationwide. Carriers benefit by being able to leverage existing Relay accounts to consolidate fuel, lumper, scales, cash, and other over-the-road transactions, unify reporting and simplify back-office management.
Relay’s EVP of Operations Emily Neuman says integrating with some of the most popular options to pay for scales allows drivers to use Relay to pay for all over-the-road expenses, while easily monitoring their cash flow.
