Although these are the major fields that c currently exist within Healthcare, don’t let them limit you! Fields like digital health and information technology did not exist some years ago.
So, if the shoe fits, don’t be afraid to create a new space, niche, or field that better suits your interests and skills. Maybe you are meant to be the next trailblazer in healthcare - you’ll never know unless you allow yourself to think beyond the boundaries of what currently exists.

The land I record my video on is the traditional territory of the Kizh/Gabrieleño (pronounced Keech) Nation and the Gabrielino/Tongva Nation according to Native Land (https://native-land.ca/). I recognize that this land was stolen from these peoples, and that they had to endure suffering, forced labor, displacement, and a stripping of much of their language, traditions, and history as a result of colonialism and oppression. Despite this, Indigenous people are still here. This is still Indigenous land.

Chumash Nation
“The name “Chumash” does not represent a traditional name employed by the aboriginal speakers of related Chumashan languages. According to Anthropologist Sally McLendon, “There was, in fact, no single term of self-designation that was used by all the peoples now referred to as Chumash, since they did not consider themselves part of a single group.” John Wesley Powell first used the term in an 1891 publication on North American Indian languages. The term “Chumash” used to refer to native peoples as a group began with the 1925 publication of the Handbook of California Indians by UC Berkeley Anthropologist Alfred Kroeber. Chumash is accepted today by Indian people and researchers as an ethnic designation.”

I chose to link this foundation because they represent the Indigenous people (the Chumash) who owned the land I record on based on the above website, and they were closest ones I could find to where I’m located in Los Angeles.
