The Trope Count series counts all of the traditional, small town, hot cocoa, romance tropes in a Hallmark Christmas movie. The goal, find the movie that racks up the most. These films must fit the Hallmark feel-good formula with repetitive movie tropes that we all love. We count the tropes into four categories Story Tropes, Character tropes, Christmas tropes, and, Activity tropes. We add up all the tropes for the final count.

This episode features the Hallmark film, The Most Wonderful Time of the Year. Brook Burke plays Jennifer who takes in and falls in love with a homeless out-of-work stranger played by Warren Christie that her eccentric uncle Ralph played by Henry Winkler meets on a plane who assaults a toy store owner at Christmas!
