• In this project, we transformed a piece of driftwood into a unique, handcrafted lamp that combines rustic charm with modern functionality. Starting with a trip to the beach, we carefully selected the perfect piece of driftwood, each with its own natural character shaped by the sea. After bringing it home, we prepared the wood, refined its shape, and crafted a stable base to complement the driftwood’s organic design. With the base and wood ready, we moved on to assembling the electrical components. From connecting the switch to wiring the socket and attaching the plug, every step was carefully executed to ensure safety and functionality. Once the bulb was installed, the lamp came to life, casting a warm glow that highlights the intricate texture of the driftwood. This project is a great example of upcycling natural materials into something functional and beautiful. The handmade driftwood lamp adds a unique touch to any space and with just a little creativity and craftsmanship, something simple can be transformed into a work of art.
