This is the second episode (Episode 2) of the Sagara road trip after lockdown (monsoon trip).

After visiting Jog falls, we continued our journey towards Bheemeshwara temple and waterfalls.

Beemeshwara is a small village near Kargal town of Shimoga district. This waterfalls is located on the Sagara to Bhatkal road.

Vehicles must be parked at the main road and From the main road, we need to trek for about 2km to reach the waterfalls. Jeep services are also available at a cost of Rs.100 per person for roundtrip.

There are few shops at the main road and none available near/on the way to the falls. Its advisable to carry food and water along.

Be careful of the leeches around and carry salt and turmeric for precaution, especially during the monsoons. This is an unexplored place near to Sagara and Shivamogga and also a must visit place near to Jog falls.
